Home About Services Contact

  • Are your services right for me? We have an array of service packages in many price ranges to fit your needs and your budget. If you have a specific need or project, please call us for a price quote.

  • Can I find out what your services will cost before I sign up? We provide a Letter of Engagement or an Investment Management Agreement to every client before we get started. This will outline the scope of the work to be done, the types of information that we need from you, and the cost of the project. We will not bill you for additional work without an upfront written agreement with you.

  • What if I already have a broker or another advisor? If you feel you don't fully understand the service you are currently getting, we offer a portfolio review that will provide a second opinion about your current investments. There will be no obligation on your part to work with us on a full-time basis. However, if you should choose to move your assets from your broker to our custodian, we can help you accomplish the transfer.

  • How often will we meet? For a Basic Financial Plan, we will have two or three meetings of one to two hours each as we agree on and prepare the plan. These will be supplemented by emails and phone calls both during the preparation of the plan and afterwards, for any follow-up questions you might have. For ongoing clients, we will meet between one and three times per year, depending on your needs and preference.

  • Are you available outside normal business hours? Yes, we are available on some evenings or weekends if you cannot meet during the day.

  • How can I be sure that my information will be protected? A copy of our privacy policy will be included with our information packet. We make every effort to ensure that your information is confidential. Client names and situations will not be disclosed without your permission. We employ the latest industry-standard technology to ensure the security of your data on our systems.

  • What are your credentials as a planner? Sound View Financial Advisors, LLC is registered as an investment advisor with the state of Massachusetts and subject to audit at any time. As Certified Financial Planners we have not only passed a rigorous exam and certificate program but are subject to extensive continuing education requirements.

  • Do you provide references? References can be provided as the last step in the process of preparing to work together in order to maintain client confidentiality, we prefer to keep our provision of references to a minimum.

  • What geographical areas do you serve? While many of our clients come from Walpole and nearby towns such as Westwood, Medfield, Sharon, Foxboro, Canton, Dover, Sherborn, Dedham, Norwood, Needham, and Newton, we have had clients as far west as Southborough and as far north as Peabody. With today's technology, working remotely is easy both for us and for you.
